Day Trips
Tendring Community Transport organises day trips for customers and welcomes their ideas for places to visit. Customers use this service to go to markets, shopping, pubs and restaurants, garden centres etc. Current trips are listed below. We aim to keep the list up-to-date and remove out of date information regularly.
November 2008
- 23rd November - Parker's Garden Centre (Frinton on Sea). £7.50 return.
- Wednesday 26th November - Freeport Shopping Centre, Braintree and Blake House Craft Centre. £9.50 return.
- Friday 28th November - Lunch at 'The Crown' Manningtree, plus Byrights Shopping in Hadleigh. £12.50 return for transport only.
- Saturday 29th November - Bury-St-Edmunds, Christmas Fayre. £13.50 return.
December 2008
- Tuesday 2nd December - Saffron Waldon, Market Day. £13.00 return.
- Thursday 4th December - Maldon Victorian Shopping Evening. £9.50 return.
- Saturday 6th December - Christmas Lunch at 'The Village Maid'. Lunch is £13.95. Transport is £8.00 return.
- Wednesday 10th December - Norwich Festival Fayre. £13.50 return.
- Sunday 14th December - Southend on Sea, with optional lunch at 'Marriots', as seafront restaurant. £13.00 return.
- Wednesday 17th December - 'Dickens World', Chatham (Christmas Theme). Entrance is £10.00 for seniors. Transport return trip is £15.00. These prices do not include the entrance fee.
- Friday 19th December - Shopping trip to Colchester Town Centre or, ASDA. £7.50 return.
- Monday 22nd December - Christmas Lunch at 'The Derby Digger' (£5.00 for two course meal). Plus Basildon Shopping. Transport is £13.00 return.
- Tuesday 30th December - Lunch at 'The Mayflower', Harwich. £8.00 return for transport only.
January 2009
- Sunday 4th January - Sunday lunch at 'The Haywain', Little Bromley. £7.50 return for transport only.
- Monday 5th January - Lunch at 'The Old Courthouse Inn', Great Bromley, plus Mill Race Nurseries. £8.00 return for transport only.

- Please telephone 01255 436962 to register (only registered members may book. If you are not a member thane simply ask Lesley for a leaflet and registration form).
- The full fare is still payable if canceled with less than 2 days notice.
- All trips are subject to sufficient passenger numbers and driver.
